“It sounds like early Fleetwood Mac!” - ‘Big Nose’ Thomas Lucas

Welcome to our page. The Atomic Prune’s roots were uncovered in 2017 when Ronni and Ben met at Aylesbury Folk Club (now Folk Acoustic and Blues Aylesbury).
They bonded over their shared love of blues of all types, and are still making music and annoying each other today.

We are committed to preserving blues music while infusing it with our own influences. These range from skiffle to gospel, rock, and reggae.
We are based in the South East of the UK, doing gigs in Aylesbury, Milton Keynes and further afield.
Influences include Led Zeppelin, Muddy Waters, Cream and Rory Gallagher.

Below are some links to music we recorded with our drummer Hayden. This was at Josh RIgal’s Forge Studio in Oxfordshire. What a great guy.
Due to a mental health incident he is no longer able to play with us.
We wish him all the very best in his recovery.

More music will be released in due course but currently (June 2026) we are reassessing things as a duo and working out where to go from here.
